Chad joined the company in April as TCC’s Survey Crew Chief and is currently pursuing his second associate degree at Utah Valley University. With over a decade of experience in the field, Chad’s career journey began as a Rodman, and through hard work and dedication, he advanced to the role of Senior Crew Chief and Assistant Department Manager at firms across the Salt Lake valley and in Arizona.

Passionate about the outdoors and spending quality time with his family, Chad also enjoys hands-on projects around the house, particularly building things. In his work, he finds great satisfaction in locating difficult-to-find monuments in the field, and in the office, he enjoys the precision of drawing in boundaries from plats and deeds. One of his proudest professional moments was locating a newly set monument and creating a tie sheet for it in Tooele County.

Chad is an avid podcast listener, favoring discussions on gospel and sports, though he likes to mix in a variety of other topics. He dreams of creating a survey-specific tool belt to improve fieldwork efficiency and has a vision for starting his own business, selling something he created if he weren’t in surveying.
