Chuck Newkirk is an experienced survey crew leader with more than 25 years of survey industry experience. For most of his career, he has been based in Utah, but he has also traveled nationally to lead large-scale projects.

Chuck has worked both directly for public utility agencies and for private survey firms through the years, with a strong portfolio of work with natural gas and energy projects across the Mountain West. In his roles as a manager, he has led his own crews and managed the progress of other crews, sometimes nearly twenty at a time, as a project leader and quality control supervisor as well.

At Talisman, Chuck pivots quickly to help ensure high-quality, rapid survey delivery for a variety of assignments ranging from construction staking to ALTA surveys to as-built documentation work. He effortlessly navigates even the largest of assignments with a methodical approach to progressing through each detailed survey work order. He is a key player in our ongoing work with Dominion Energy and PacifiCorp, two of Utah’s largest energy providers.
