Dustin Kimbrough, P.E.

Project Engineer

Education | Bachelor of Science, Civil & Environmental Engineering, University of Utah

Dustin joined our team in 2016 after receiving his degree in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Utah. Since then, he has become a key player on our civil engineering project teams. As a Project Engineer, he works directly with our clients to develop detailed design drawings for a range of projects, from site design to roadway work across the greater Salt Lake region. In project construction administration roles, Dustin has also ensured smooth transitions from the client’s idea through civil design and into implementation, working closely with the contractors to ensure the design is constructed correctly.

His projects with our firm have included the site civil design for a new elementary school in Clinton, Utah, a major new sidewalk corridor stretching along Mario Capecchi Drive at the University of Utah campus, and a detailed water model for the University, including culinary, fire suppression, and storm drainage water management.

In his studies as a student, Dustin also had the chance to craft a major roadway improvement plan for Utah’s Big Cottonwood Canyon corridor, a key regional watershed, and recreation area. This project is still under consideration for implementation by regional leaders in the years ahead.
