Jefferson Bell, P.E.

Associate Engineer

Education | Bachelor of Civil & Environmental Engineering, University of Utah

Certifications | Registered P.E. - UT

Since joining the Talisman team years ago, Jefferson worked his way from an engineer in training to a fully licensed Project Engineer. He has had the chance to play steadily growing roles on our project assignments, serving as a talented leader on some of our highest-profile assignments.

With a talent to see designs at a higher level, Jefferson has helped in the design of several major master plan assignments for ski resorts across the State of Utah. He has also led detailed water master plan projects for higher education clients, helping growing institutions plan for long-term storm drainage, sanitary sewerage, and culinary water needs.

As a Project Engineer on the TCC team, Jefferson serves as a key player on many design assignments. His role includes managing project budgets, reviewing junior staff drawings, and performing and reviewing engineering calculations. He works independently, under the supervision of our Director of Civil Engineering, for some smaller client assignments and as a design point person in collaboration with a team of staff members on our larger project teams as well. He also leads our team in the utilization of GIS technologies, thanks to a strong understanding of this highly valuable data.

"We’re a full-fledged professional company with all the necessary software, resources, and knowledge needed for me to continue to grow as an engineer. Given our relatively young age and smaller size, this is really a direct reflection on the values of the Talisman leadership.”
