Club Med at Snowbasin Ski Resort

The Talisman team has been a long-time engineering partner for the Canyons Ski Resort, now operating as the Canyons Base Area under the Park City Mountain Resort banner. Since 2006, Talisman staff have provided infrastructure master planning, engineering design, survey services, mapping, permitting, and construction support across the resort’s 1,100 acres of developable land. Throughout the work, the TCC staff has emphasized value engineering, completing construction on time and within budget, and helping the client maximize project revenues.

Some examples of our projects at the property include master planning for all water, sewer, storm drain, snowmaking, and dry utilities within the Canyons Special Planned Area (SPA); the design of two 1000-GPM and one 2000-GPM water booster pump stations; the design of a 20-million-gallon lined snowmaking reservoir, pump station, and 1000’s of feet of snowmaking water mains; and service as the development’s review engineer, providing conformance reviews for private developments within the resort for the management association. Talisman staff members also worked with the design and construction teams that created the Canyons Golf Course that extends throughout the resort villages.
