Advancing Utah's tech education with a state-of-the-art facility and impactful design.

In collaboration with GSBS Architects, TCC is developing civil improvement plans for the 2.7-acre site designated for this innovative University of Utah project, with completion targeted for 2025. Adhering to rigorous standards, including APWA, Salt Lake City, University of Utah, and DFCM specifications, our plans integrate High Performance Building Standards and Target Value Design, ensuring a state-of-the-art educational facility.

This project is a response to Utah’s rapidly growing tech sector, where the demand for advanced educational infrastructure is at an all-time high. The new building is designed to alleviate the current limitations of space and facilities, featuring large classrooms, secure research areas for top-tier agencies, and interdisciplinary centers focused on Data Science, FinTech, Cybersecurity, and AI. It will house 3,000 students and aims to double the computing graduates from the Price College of Engineering, significantly impacting Utah’s tech workforce.

The PCEB project is more than a construction endeavor; it’s a strategic step towards enhancing Utah’s educational landscape and aligning with the state’s burgeoning tech industry. With a focus on sustainability, innovation, and future-readiness, this project is set to be a cornerstone in the advancement of Utah’s technological and educational capabilities, fostering a new generation of tech leaders and innovators.
