EngineHouse Park City

EngineHouse Park City

Park City, Utah

Park City's newest and largest affordable housing project.

Now open for leasing, EngineHouse is the largest affordable and workforce housing development ever completed in Park City, delivering a long-overdue response to the city’s housing affordability crisis. Located in the Bonanza Park area, the four-story, mixed-income community includes 123 residential units, with the majority deed-restricted for households earning approximately 60% of the Area Median Income. The development is designed to serve the people who keep Park City running — teachers, service workers, first responders, and other essential members of the local workforce who have historically been priced out of the community.

As one of the most significant housing investments in the city’s history, EngineHouse represents a shift in how Park City approaches workforce stability and long-term livability. By combining public land support with private development expertise, the project demonstrates how coordinated planning and infrastructure investment can deliver real housing solutions in a high-cost mountain environment.

Talisman provided full civil engineering, land surveying, and construction staking services for the project, supporting EngineHouse from early site development through active construction. Survey services included boundary and topographic surveys, site layout, and precision staking to support building placement, utilities, parking, and circulation across a dense infill site with tight tolerances.

Civil engineering efforts focused on grading, drainage, and utility design tailored to Park City’s terrain, climate, and municipal standards. Particular attention was given to stormwater management, access, and constructability to ensure long-term functionality while keeping construction efficient and coordinated. Given the project’s scale and complexity, close collaboration with the City, design team, and contractor was essential to maintaining schedule and minimizing risk.

EngineHouse is critical community infrastructure. Our team is proud to have played a role in delivering a development that directly supports Park City’s workforce, strengthens neighborhood resilience, and sets a precedent for future affordable housing efforts in the region. This project finished construction in December 2025.
