Improved functionality meets garden campus.

In 2018 the Talisman Civil Consultants team was selected to provide site civil engineering design for the Headquarters Campus Site Improvements Master Plan for the Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District. The District, providing water and water conservancy services to much of Salt Lake County, is one of the largest water districts in Utah.

This approximately 55-acre master plan identified important updates to the current site drainage, culvert replacement, aggregate storage relocation, parking lot pavement, and irrigation system. The project also included creating modifications to the access road line of the site to assist with safety concerns, gas line relocation, landscaping improvements, and walking trail design with the goal of connecting the site to the existing Jordan River Trail system. Other goals for the project included improving the site’s functionality to meet the growing demands of the district while maintaining the aesthetic beauty of the site’s gardens and overall campus.

After completing the Master Planning effort, the Talisman team then moved into two phases of complete civil engineering design and construction administration services. The project’s final phase of the work is now slated for construction completion in 2021.
