Oquirrh Regional Park Master Planning & Redevelopment Design

This 53-acre park is located in Kearns, Utah, a small township within Salt Lake County. Known for its highly trafficked skate park and organized recreational events, the park has grown in popularity in recent years for the surrounding populations of Salt Lake, West Jordan, and West Valley City.

As a sub-consultant to Environmental Planning Group, the Talisman Civil Consultants team was a key player in the planning, engineering, and construction administration phases for a series of improvements to the park completed in 2020.

As a part of the project, open space was engineered to accommodate new multi-use sports fields for popular regional sports such as cricket and soccer. In addition, our team added new ADA-accessible trails to the site, a new restroom facility, a new maintenance building, a series of open-air pavilions, and a large children’s playground. Lighting was also added throughout the park for improved safety and expanded access.

The TCC team also provided construction staking services for the project.
